sold the Angels for an estimated $180 million in 2003.
In January 2005, the Anaheim Angels changed their name to the 'Los Angeles Angels
of Anaheim'. The name change hopes to draw audiences from the wider Los
Angeles regions of Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, San Bernardino, and
Riverside Counties, This is the second largest media market in the US and
the club hopes the name change will strengthen the Angels' long-term
economic health by increasing their marketability and fan base.

Stadium saw some changes when Disney finally got their hands on the team.
A huge plaza are was built outside with two giant Angel caps outside the
main entrance. Not too 'Disney'. Until you get inside.
