About.
Founded in 1900 in Brooklyn, Mack has
become an American institution. During World War I, the British government used
Mack trucks to supply its front lines with troops and food, British soldiers
dubbed the truck the Bulldog Mack due to its blunt-nosed hood and
durability. This accolade resulted in a bulldog being incorporated into
the official Mack logo.
In the early 80's, a 'Big Black Mack' made it's way onto the silver
screen courtesy of the cult rubber-duckin' truckin' movie -
