Detroit Red Wings Cap

Price: £20.00      (approx 29 Euro)

The Detroit Red Wings Z-Fit cap from Zephyr. The Red Wings get a heads up on this hockey hat with a team logo on the crown and 'D' logo on reverse.   Detroit Red Wings hat
About. The Detroit Red Wings are one of the most dominating hockey teams in history, creating what some have recently called a 'dynasty' in the 1990s. They've one the Stanley Cup 10 times since 1936, with their most recent win in 2002. The Red Wings are the third team in NHL history to have double-digit championships. The Montreal Canadiens have 23 and the Toronto Maple Leafs 13.

It is not uncommon for an octopus to be thrown on to the ice at a Red Wings game - as a salute to the team. The first appeared during the Red Wings' 1952 Stanley Cup run, courtesy of a couple of brothers from a local fish shop. The octopus has eight tentacles, and in those days it took eight playoff wins to claim the Stanley Cup..?
